Brief Answer:
Most likely a viral illness

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for such symptoms in kids is a self limiting viral infection which needs just symptomatic treatment. So, you may hold cepodem. There is no need for amoxicillin or any other antibiotics. They won't help in viral infection.

I would recommend you to start her on antihistamine syrup such as Chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine for cough relief. It will be better then Servil Junior for non productive cough.Ensure regular feeds and plenty of oral fluids.

Hopefully it will be of help. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.

Take care
