Brief Answer:
Start oral contraceptive pills.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
From the history it seems that she is having Dysfunctional uterine bleeding. The irregular and heavy bleeding that she is having can be due to uterine fibroids, polyps or hormonal disturbances. For diagnosis, she needs to have an ultrasound scan of the lower abdomen and some blood tests.
Laboratory assessment of hemoglobin, luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), prolactin, T4, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), pregnancy (by βhCG), and androgen profile is needed.
The management of this condition would require treatment with progesterone to stabilize the endometrium and reduce bleeding along with hemostatic agents like ethamsylate or tranexaemic acid . Oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) suppress endometrial development, reestablish predictable bleeding patterns, decrease menstrual flow, and lower the risk of iron deficiency anemia.

She might consult a Gynecologist who can do the needed tests and initiate the proper therapy.
Meanwhile start taking iron supplements to combat excessive blood loss from the body. In case she can get an oral contraceptive pill like Femilon or Ovral G then it is best to start with any one of these till she meets her doctor for a detailed evaluation. Self medication in such a situation can be dangerous.

Brief Answer:
Yes these will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The bleeding can be controlled temporarily by taking these tablets twice a day. Once started she should continue it for 20-25 days and when she will stop taking these tablets she will have withdrawal bleeding in next 3-4 days.
It is best to start taking oral contraceptive pills from the next cycle for at least 3 cycles.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
No. Dont stop Primolut N.

Detailed Answer:
She can continue with Primolut N for this cycle and then start with the oral pills from the next cycle. This is likely to help her in case the bleeding is due to hormonal imbalance. In case this does not help then detailed investigations are needed to find out the cause of bleeding like fibroids or polyps.
