Brief Answer:
Heavy bleeding might be normal

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
Iam Dr.Srilatha gynaecologist.I have gone through your query.
In my opinion heavy bleeding after laparoscopic surgery for endometriotic cyst might be normal.
It might be due to altered uterine muscle contractility due to increased blood supply after excision of endometriotic tissue. This might be the most common factor.
It might also be related to physical inactivity leading to alteration of hormones.
Heavy bleeding might be there for 2 or 3 cycles.
So nothing to worry. With time it will heal and everything gets normal.
So relax.Tab.tranexamic acid might help to some extent.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
Best regards...Dr.Srilatha

Brief Answer:
It is considered normal

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.
In my opinion you need not worry even about the prolonged duration of cycle ie.,9 days.
Usually in a normal menstrual cycle ovary produces the estrogen and progesterone hormones.During the removal of endometriotic cyst the ovarian tissue might get altered with variation in blood supply and there by changes in the function of ovary causing alteration of hormone levels.
This hormonal imbalance might cause altered menstrual cycle.
Nothing to worry as all these changes get normal once the tissues are healed.
These type of post op changes vary in different people as it depends on many factors like extent of disease, stress, nutritional status etc.
So relax and avoid stress.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
Best regards...Dr.Srilatha
