Suggest Remedy For Frequent Urination

Question: frequent urination, once a night in early am, large amounts of urine,

i do drink a lot of water, and a fair amount of coffee, am 6'1" and overweight 265 #, generally in good health , blood pressure, with meds is now normal

Hi and thanks for your query.

The excessive urination seems to be stemming from hydrochlorthiazide which is a diuretic. Diuretic means something that increases urination. Coffee is also somewhat diuretic and adding to its effect. Moreover you are drinking lots of water. A urinalysis can also be undertaken to rule out other concomitant conditions like diabetes.

Maybe try taking BP meds in morning so that you do not need to wake up at night.
