Suggest Remedy For Dry Mouth And Blood Blisters On Side Of Mouth

Question: Since last Sunday after I drank GUAIFENESIN/CODEINE PHOSPHATE) cough syrup. I have been feeling like if my mouth was dry but is not, I eat well , taste food well and everything it just has that feeling, had a blood blister appear on the side of of my mouth wall, I saw it and accidentally popped while looking at it, that area is back to normal and there is nothing there anymore, could have been just a trauma while Eating , but still have an anxiety and feeling of dry mouth but aside from that I pretty much feel good. The anxiety is a bit much, had it last year, similar feeling of dry mouth , it left or just simply I got out of my head

The syrup containing codeine and guaphenesine can cause dryness of the throat as both these drugs are meant to reduce the secretions of the respiratory tract.

Drink plenty of warm water, avoid chilled food and beverages, coffee and fizzy drinks for few days. You will definitely feel better.
