Brief Answer:
try antihistamines

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Usually cold and cough is viral in nature and may last a week.
In your child's case it's been there for 2 weeks which indicates two possibilities
1. Bacterial infection - you have already completed 5 days of antibiotics. That should clear it by now and with no fever it is now possibly cleared.
2. Allergic cold - this may last few weeks especially with change in season.
I would advise you to try antihistamines like cetrizine syrup.
I usually prescribe around 5 ml twice daily.
It should help settling running nose in a few days.
If no improvement consult with your doctor again.
Wishing your child speedy recovery.
Regards
Dr Arun
