Brief Answer:
glycerine suppository or lactulose syp

Detailed Answer:
Hello
In children medications are usually indicated when there is chronic constipation or there is impaction of stool. Not passing stool for one day is not an indication.
Is he passing urine normally as sometimes both are related. Is his bowel pattern is not regular for a long duration?
You can change the diet of the baby to make the bowel pattern regular. If you are giving him everything in mashed/semisolid form, now its time to start whole cereals.
Increasing sugar content in feed also helps in normal bowel pattern.
There may be some other cause due to which baby is crying.
If he is really constipated you can put glycerine suppository in his rectum or give oral lactulose syrup.
So I would suggest you to consult a pediatrician and if needed suppository or syrup can be given.
Regards
