Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Mittal. I have read your message. I think I can help you.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of 2 possible causes.
1. a possible recurrence of the kidney stones and the pain irritation causing the local intestine to cause constipation.
2. the second and more possible cause might be constipation per se.
I think it would be prudent to consider following steps -
1. plenty of fluids preferably warm water.
2. isapghula husk 3tsf at bedtime.
3. high fiber vegetarian diet .
4. repeat ultrasound of the abdomen to detect any new stones or sludge.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal

Thank you Dr.
My stools over recent times have been on the runny side.
I have no pain or problem with passing urine.
The pain is on both sides of my body and at the base of my spine

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
That additional information changes everything.
I think this may be a nerve related problem.
Ideally you need to meet a spine surgeon or a neurologist.
I suggest testing a MRI LS SPINE WITH SCREEN WHOLE SPINE.
If it's showing a nerve compression, the diagnosis will be clinched.
The medicines will depend on the reports.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
