Question: Right from the day my mother expired 2 months ago, i had panic attacks for which i used nexito forte medication for 30 days. but recenlty 12 days ago, i got muscle jerks right on my heart portion of the chest. i have also started feeling heaviness on my heart (left chest) . i am have a slight back pain (or back numbness). i also felt numbness on my lungs as though they are expanding beyond the limits during my panic attacks. i have started exercising past 5 days. On the first day of my exercise, i had a muscle pull on my left toes(probably muscle twitching). immediately follwoing this i have stopped taking nexito forte. it is already 15 day and more that i have stopped.i still have little heaviness on my left chest and little numbness feeling on my back (left side) . please let me know if there is anything to worry about ??? should i get my cholestrol and lungs/chest checked up. please let me know. also after i had 'ashwagandha rishta' ayurvedic medicine for stress, my urine has become little yellowish than usual. please let me know what i can do.

also i have sligh shoulder pain on my left, probably could be becuase of my exercise. but i dont know why everything seems not good on my left side of my body.

also every one around me are complaining that i am becoming lean. is there any thing to worry abou?

Brief Answer:
Hyperventilation

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.

I think your symptoms are due to hyperventilation during the panic attacks. Since it is improving, I think there is nothing to worry. It seems that your panic attacks are improving.

There is nothing wrong in consulting a doctor. Getting tested is also a wise thing to do. An air blood gas analysis would point to the diagnosis. But I dont think raised cholesterol would be responsible for these symptoms. This is more related to the panic and/or use of medicine.

The pain on left side shoulder is also anxiety related. Though an ECG is warranted.

You may monitor your weight.

Please accept the situation that your mother has passed away and that you would be ok even without her. There is nothing much to worry.

Next step would be to get an ECG and an air blood gas analysis done at a facility where it is available.
