Suggest Remedy For Anal Fissure

Question: I have an anal fissure & I'm applying with a cue tip the medication Nifedipine. Does this medication cause some burning sensation in this area?

Yes this medication can cause bruning sensation I would also suggest you to use Lignocaine or tronolene Hemorrhoidal gels ..these gels kill germs plus they cure the pain of fissure that helps much in reducing symptoms and spasm of sphincter.

I would also suggest you to keep a good control of constipation... constipation will create problems...hard stools can prove really detrimental for the prognosis

Because I'm using nifedipine, can I still put a little Lanecaine with the nifedipine, or just use the lanecaine gel?
