Brief Answer:
The medications are prescribed correctly

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

An ACE inhibitor such as ramipril or an ARB such as losartan along with a beta blocker such as metoprolol is the appropriate start.

Losartan can be started at dose of 50 mg once a day. 3 to 4 weeks follow up Blood pressure should be measured to make the appropriate adjustment.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
