Question: Hello Dr

Last year I had developed warts on my face. They grew around my chin and neck. I took homeopathy and went for laser removal of the warts with a dermatologist. After 3 sittings and continued medicine support the warts disappeared.

Now my 3.5 yr old daughter has developed wart on her index finger. Please advise a sustainable cure. I don't want to go for a laser process.

Brief Answer:
Use lotion containing salicylic acid & lactic acid on the wart twice daily

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
Warts can be treated by topical application of a lotion containing salicylic acid 16.7 percent and lactic acid 16.7 percent.
Multiple brands containing this combination are available in the market like cleanoderm lotion, salex L lotion or duofilm lotion.
You can use either of the above.
It has to be applied twice daily on the wart for atleast 3-4 weeks.
This will help in shedding off the wart.
If this treatment doesn't give satisfactory results then you will have to go for electrocautery or laser treatment.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
