Brief Answer:
Anti-fungal ointment should be used.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.

Reviewed the two photos.
The appearance is like that of a candidal infection or severe balanitis.
That's infection of the penis head and foreskin.

Stop using Daktacort immediately. It's a steroid, that worsens the infection.
You'll need to apply anti-candidal ointment, over the penis head.
Avoid unprotected sex.
Maintain good penile hygiene.
Avoid moisture over the penis.

If you've had sex with multiple partners,do the STD panel blood tests and RBS.

There're several anti-fungal ointments,like,fluconazole,ketoconazole,nystatin,etc.
Get it prescribed by your doctor or licensed pharmacist.

Wish you well.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer, I will look to getting an anti fungal ointment immediately, how long would I have to use the ointment for? I know some reccomend 2 weeks after symptoms have cleared?

Thanks and regards
