Brief Answer:
lichen planus. Potent topical steroid ointment

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr. Kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have reviewed the image.

I will keep a possibility of lichen planus. Lichen planus presents as itchy, bluish, papules/ nodules most commonly on ankles, wrists and flanks.

I suggest him to use a potent topical steroid i.e halobetasol propionate 0.05% cream + salicylic acid 6% ointment e.g Halox- ES ointment Or Halovate - S ointment, twice daily.

In addition he may also take a tablet of cetrizine 20mg once daily for itching.
