Suggest remedies for severe fatigue

Question: Since past 1 month I M feeling very week. i get tired soon , even in the begining of the week i dont feel that i am fully fit , that is affecting my work capabilities . I used to do gym perviously but due to my working hours i had to leave it.
Is it due to the increased work pressure because its almost 10-11 hrs of work daily ,
that is both mentaly and physicaly .

Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.

Dear XXXXXXX , You are right that this fatiguability is both mentally and physically as well.

Excessive workload can cause you mental fatigue and since your body is under control of your mind it feels fatigued too.

However you should in general go for routine tests like Hemoglobin, Calcium and Vitamin D levels and thyroid profile as well just to be sure there are no pathological causes behind your tiredness.

I would advice you to limit your work timings and take a good sleep of at least 8 hours in a stretch.
Start with yoga and meditation to help your mind and body as well.

Another cause of tiredness can be excessive snoring in case you do. This you have to ask your family members.

Taking a good multivitamin like Wellman , A to Z available over the counter.
Taking more of green leafy vegetables and fruits would surely help you.

If you are unable to adjust your working time then you should take a leave from your work and go for a short vacation with your family.
