Suggest Remedies For Painful Lump In Breast And Fever After Discontinuing Breastfeeding

Question: My wife (28) has been feeling lumps inside the left breast and severe pain and fever. she stopped lactating 5 months ago. The gynec prescribed SUMOFLAM for a week and if not reduced suggested a scan.

Please let me know if the treatment seems correct. And also can there be any home remedies for this type of issue?

A breast lump with severe pain and fever is likely to be due to an infection like breast abscess. In addition to pain killer like Sumoflam, she needs proper oral antibiotics to control the infection.
In case of a breast cancer, the lump is usually hard and is attached to the skin and it is painless. A mammogram and an FNAC of the lump will help in proper diagnosis.
