Brief Answer:
Cervical spondylosis. Needs exercises, medication, precautions, Xray MRI

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

Do you have pain that is radiating from the back of the neck to the shoulders and arms ?

Any tingling or numbness of the fingers?

According to your history, it appears to be signs of Cervical spondylosis. Early degenerative changes are occurring to the spine that is causing symptoms related to compression of nerves from the spine.

It would be helpful to get an Xray and MRI of the cervical spine to confirm the diagnosis and delineate the amount of nerve compression in the neck of the neck.

Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Use a thin pillow to lie on. Apply hot water fomentation to the painful regions. Take Tablet Diclofenac with Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day for 5 days before meals. Keep well hydrated. You could also consult a good Physiotherapist and learn neck extension exercises and get a disease of Short wave diathermy, Ultrasound therapy to relieve you of the pain.

Also do follow proper ergonomics at work to reduce the strain on your spine.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Thanks for the reply.

I dont have any tingling or numbness of the fingers.Even the pain or uneasiness is mostly a one place only. It started from the neck and shoulder joint part and now it has moved up and it is near the upper part of the neck.
