Suggest Remedies For Itchy And Red Eyes
Question: I have problem in my both eyes. Its itiching too much. it becomes red if rubbed too much. Generally it happenes during rainy season. Please help. Any suggestion for eye drop etc. Thank you.

In rainy season it may be allergic conjunctivitis due to pollen in air, cosmetic or a pet in house. Should start taking tablet levocetrizine 5mg in the morning daily for 7days. Apply cromal eye drop three times daily. In rainy season eye infection is more due to humid condition. So probability remain with two conditions like viral conjunctivitis and allergic conjunctivitis. Viral involvement is self limiting and no specific treatment is required. It will regress of its own.For allergic conjunctivitis probable allergen is to be avoided. Avoid all cosmetic and keep distance from pet in house. Avoid expouser to outside to be away from pollen and dust.It can be also some item in food which may be allergic so you should avoid it. If unable to decide on cause of allergy then go for allergy test.With this treatment and precaution you will improve.At any stage avoid using steroid.
