Suggest Remedies For Irregular Menstruation
Question: My normal period starts on 21/22 of every month .In the month of XXXXXXX usually my period starts on 21 & last for 5 days.Again on 5th July my period starts & last for 5 days .On 18th july period starts & it is continuing .No excessive bleeding or pain observed .I am taking Thyronom 75 regularly for Thyroid problem as prescribed by Endocrinologist. 10 days back I was detected Lumber spondelysis & as per Doctor's advice doing exercise on regular basis.Kindly advise what to do for irregular periods.

I hope I have spelt your name correctly; if not please correct me.
Your usual period is of 21-22 days; however, your last few periods have appeared rather more frequently. You your concern is natural and I do empathize it.
You seem to be case of hypothyroidism. For how long you are on Thyronorm 75 microgms? I hope you are taking these tablets early in the morning on empty stomach, at least half an hour before you take anything by mouth. It is likely that your dose needs adjustment if your thyroid function has not been corrected with this dose. Thyroid dysfunction is known to cause menstrual irregularities. When were your Thyroid function tests performed before this? If it is more than 3 months, please get your blood examined for T3, T4 and TSH. Please upload the reports for my review.
You need to evaluate your reproductory hormonal status also. Please get blood checked for Oestrogen, Progesterone, FSH, LH, Prolactin levels. If indicated, we may consider the study of your uterine lining later.
Ultrasonography will help us to find any evidence of any tumour in the uterus which also can cause frequent uterine bleeding.
Please get all these reports done and upload them with the images also.
The doctor has rightly prescribed you Registerone pills. Is there any specific reason for you to abstain from taking the pills? Please take them regularly which will help regularise your menses. Registerone may minimise the menstrual loss. If the menstrual bleeding is too less, you may opt for regular cyclical birth control pills for at least 3 months instead of Registerone, which might help in regularising your menses. If they do, you may differ the investigations (except Thyroid function test). The other medicines are tonics and antacids.
So let your first step be birth control pills and then Thyroid function test.
Lumbar Spondylitis should not be the cause of your menstrual irregularities.
