Brief Answer:
Treatment with immunosuppressants and Physical Therapy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank You for the query at HealthcareMagic

There is no definite cure for inclusion body myositis. Treatment with immunosuppresive medications like corticosteroids have shown to improve symptoms temporarily. Studies have shown that Alemtuzumab (a monoclonal antibody that act against inflammatory cells) have shown to improve muscle strength and slow disease progression.

Physical Therapy is an important aspect of treatment and will help strengthening muscles

Please consult with your doctor for initiation of medications and Physical Therapy.

Hope I was able to help you
Please feel free to address any more concerns

Regards,
Dr.Lekshmi
