Brief Answer:
Yes it can be in few cases!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for your query!

The symptoms which you are feeling is called palpitations. It's a noticeably rapid, strong, or irregular heartbeat due to agitation, exertion, or illness. Palpitations make you feel like your heart is beating too hard or too fast, skipping a beat, or fluttering. Usually, palpitations are caused mostly due to structural or functional abnormality of heart, yet Gastritis, acid peptic disorders, Gastro esophageal reflux disease or reflux esophagitis can be a cause of palpitations in some cases.

I would advice you to take Capsule Pantoprazole 20 mg once daily empty stomach along with an antacid syrup twice daily(a prescription from your doctor may be required) for 14 days.

If not relieved, it can be cardiac in origin. Hence few tests like tread mill test, 24 hour Holter monitoring should be done along with thyroid profile as baseline tests to rule out palpitations.

In case you need more help, feel free to ask further !

Thanks!
