Brief Answer:
Frequent Cough/cold is common in this age

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for choosing this platform

Frequent cold/cough(upto 6-8 times in a year) is normal in this age unless it gets severe that needed hospital admission.
As the child grows the frequency of cough gets decreases.
No specific treatment is needed to increase the immunity. You may get his immune profile test done after consulting your pediatrician to alleviate your anxiety.
The normal axillary temperature ranges from 97-98.7 F.The temperature may show diurnal variation(lower range during morning and upper range during evening).
A 3 year old child can take normal home food.Children of this age are more fussy about feeds and they should be encouraged for frequent small feed. The diet should contain fruits and milk.Junk food should be avoided.

I hope this helps.
