Brief Answer:
Do home pregnancy test at the earliest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) I suggest you to undergo one home pregnancy test at the earliest and one pelvic ultrasound scan to rule out underlying pathology including pregnancy (confirmation).

2) Other reasons of late period like hormonal imbalance, irregular eating habit, stress/anxiety, ovarian cyst, thyroid problem, psychological factors, over weight or extreme weight loss etc can be considered here if pregnancy is ruled out. Then some hormonal test may be needed in addition to above.

3) On NEGATIVE test, you may need to take progesterone pill to induce period. In that case, you must consult with your treating doctor for prescription.

Review with test results. Hope, I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Brief Answer:
You can expect period within 7-10 days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for follow up query.

If pregnancy test is NEGATIVE, then you should continue mensovit plus tablet for another 4-5 days to induce period.

You can expect your period within 7-10 days after stopping the medicine. Be stress free, control body weight and do regular meditation. It will be helpful.

Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck and take care.

Regards,

Details are given below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for additional query.

1) Above clinical features may be due to effect of the medicine, recent weight gain or indigestion problem. You may get period soon.

2) Cold and cough is basically NOT related with the effect of medicine. It may be due to allergic infection, change in weather or environment. You may take some sort of treatment (like Paracetamol, antibiotic and cetirizine) if problem continues. in that case, I suggest you to consult with doctor for prescription.

Hope, I have answered your query. Good luck and all the best.

Brief Answer:
Norethisterone pill should be taken in this case.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Welcome back again.

I suggest you to take Norethisterone (like Primolut-N) pill 5 mg thrice daily for 5 days to induce period. You will get back your period within 5 days after stopping the medicine.

If you don't get it by this time, you have to undergo some basic investigations like pelvic ultrasound scan and hormone test (progesterone, thyroid profile, prolactin, DHEAS etc). Review with test reports for next level of management.

Hope, it will help in this case. Revert back to me if you have any other query.

Be stress free and take care.

Brief Answer:
Need proper treatment for irregular period.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Welcome back again. I understand your concern.

1) Irregular or late period may be due to hormonal imbalance, Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), extra mental stress, emotional upset, irregular diet habit, high prolactin level, over weight, pelvic infection, thyroid disturbance etc.

2) If you have done hormone test previously, then you can attach or upload all of them. Otherwise, you have to undergo above mentioned hormone test, pelvic ultrasound scan, blood sugar and Hemoglobin%.

3) Until then, I can suggest you to take Norethisterone pill to induce period. It will be more effective in your case than Mensovit Plus. Specific treatment should be started after reviewing test reports.

4) You would take healthy diet (LOW carbohydrate) with more green vegetables, drink more water, keep bowel habit regular, avoid mental stress by meditation or yoga, control body weight by regular physical exercise and maintain genital hygiene properly.

These are quite helpful to maintain healthy life style and regularize your period.

5) During brushing, source of blood in mouth could be from teeth & gum disease (Gingivitis), throat infection etc. Local examination should be done and you can consult with Dentist regarding this.

Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck and take care.
