Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry - this happens at every home

Detailed Answer:
Hi....Nothing to worry. Please do not feel guilty. This happens at every home where a child is there. This is not your fault and this is how children grow up.

I understand your concern. First be reassured that your kid is normal. I will suggest you danger signs of head injury -
1. Vomiting continuously
2. Seizures
3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose
4. Unconsciousness
5. Altered sensorium or behaviour.

If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. For pain you can give oral Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose(max ceiling dose 500mg) every 4-6th hourly.
