No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your reply. The symptoms and history is suggestive of a viral illness. Continue with symptomatic medications for relief. Crocin DS is not sufficient as per her age and weight. Give her crocin 500mg tablet for fever spikes more than100 degrees fahrenheit. You may repeat the dose after 6-8 hours if fever persists.
Continue with zyrcold cough syrup. If shivering doesn't improve in a day then get the following tests done to rule out bacterial infection or malaria:
CBC, C REACTIVE PROTEIN
PS for MP
Urine routine and microscopic examination

You may upload the reports for my reference.
Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care

One full tab of Crocin 500mg every time?

Also, what if the temperature rises before 6 hours? Is it mandatory to wait for 6-8 hours before goving another tab?

Brief Answer:
Yes, 500mg full tablet is to be given

Detailed Answer:
You cannot give more than one tablet on 6 hours. If fever doesn't improve then sponging can be done for relief. If still she has high grade fever more than 102 degrees fahrenheit then give Syp. Meftal P 10 ml for relief. Syp. Meftal P cannot be repeated before 8 hours.
