Question: I take oxycodone 30 mg 3 times a day and morphine 60mg 2 times a day and have chronic constipation. What drugs should i switch to for my chronic pain. NECK and BACK

the only problem mentioned is "chronic constipation" which is likely due to the very high doses of narcotics.

There are a few issues potentially here:
I cannot say in your particular case, but the current narcotic guidelines issued by the federal government would say that if someone is over oxycodone 30 mg ONCE a day caution should be exercised and if the dose is over 100 mg a day total then there is a strong likelihood the person is going to be seriously harmed by the narcotic.

Or, there are very good medications for narcotic induced constipation that would overcome the whole constipation problem (relistor, or amitiza among a few of them).

Or there could be other reasons for constipation and a colonoscopy is generally recommended anyway periodically in adults over age 50.
