Question: I have a chronic cough that is most likely caused by aleovlitis - hypersensitivity caused by inhalation of dust or mold. What are the best treatments? XXXXXXX

Straight answer to your query is Using Inhaler Steroids like Budecort is the best treatment for chronic cough due to alveolitis / Bronchitis.

In my opinion you need to be further evaluated for the cause of Chronic cough . You have mentioned that you were tested and told no active Sarcoidosis in 2014. I recommend a repeat testing again now , either with HRCT scan or with Serum ACE levels test. Also get tested for Tuberculosis infection ( Either Monteaux test or TB PCR test )
