Irregular heartbeat is a serious problem caused due to abnormalities in the electrical conduction system of the heart. One variety which occurs along with respiratory cycle is normal. Otherwise, we should look at other problems.

First we need to get an ECG to confirm if actually it is irregular, and if so, the type. Further evaluation depends on this information. Treatment is readily available.
