Brief Answer:
Diet

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply

1. Morning sickness is common during first trimester of pregnancy. She will feel better after 4th month onwards.

2. To prevent vomiting she has to avoid hot and spicy foods. Avoid tea and coffee.

3. Let her not stay hungry for a long time. Frequent small meals are important.

4. For breakfast she can have wheat preparations like upma, chapati, boiled eggs or omlette.

5. She can have fruits as snacks between breakfast and lunch.

6. For lunch and dinner she can have roti with any subji with less spicy. A cup of rice and dhal as addition.

7. She can have sprouts and salads in between lunch and dinner as snacks.

8. Have frequent small meals and avoid junk food.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Brief Answer:
Food

Detailed Answer:
Hi

No food is cold or heat producing. All food items can be had safely in pregnancy.

Non veg can be eaten. Absolutely no problem with that. But it should be less spicy as non veg or veg spicy foods lead to gastric irritation and lead to vomiting.

So follow my advice given previously and stay calm. She can have any food she likes rather than not having many types of food that she likes to eat. Encourage her to eat what she wants without putting restrictions.
