The only management which you can do other than following dr advice is not to drink too much of fluid at a time.Fluid overload means that the osmotic pressure in the blood rises.This leads to rise of fluid into the eye leading to raised intra ocular pressure.In such situations fluid intake is to be spaced over a period of time.
There is a water drinking test to provoke glaucoma,by drinking a liter of water and measuring pressure.
Follow the dr.advice and have regular follow up and do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

Do you know of any nutritional diet that can help by treating the cause of glaucoma?
I accept your advice regards drinking too much at a time, but I don't believe that is what is causing my glaucoma. I don't have a drinking problem.

to understand the treatment of glaucoma you have to understand it's causes.There is either a hypersecretion of aqueous in the eye(rarely),or there is blockage of drainage channels.Then this becomes a structural defect.Blockage of drainage leads to rise of pressure in the eye which if not controlled by medicine then a alternate drainage channel is made surgically.
The raised pressure damages the nerve fibres.The only nutretional role may be good diet with vitamin B complex supplementation may be in maintaining the health of these nerve fibres.Primarily there is no nutritional cure as it is not a nutretional defeciancy and more of structural defect.
