Question: Hi, I'm going on a vacation.. I want to prepone my periods date.. Is there any medicine which can bring menses next day??
my age is 28. i got my last periods on 29 XXXXXXX I'm going on vacation on 23 feb. please suggest some medicine which can prepone menses.

I'm sorry to inform you that there is no medication to prepone the mensus.. But you can postpone the mensus to how many ever days you desire..

You can take norethisterone tablet twice daily from 3days prior to your expected periods and continue it as long as you desire.. You will get periods within 1week of stoppage of drugs.. There are many drugs and regimes to postpone your period.. This is a prescription based medication..

Usually there wont be much side effects with one time usage of this pill. Long term usage is not recommended.

Side effects like weight gain, acne is seen with long term use.. Nausea may occur in some.

one more question is my mother was having breast cancer. So doctors generally recommend me not to take pills because of hereditary fact. so i just want to know whether i should take this medicine keeping this fact also in my mind. i have to take this for short term only. Please suggest whether i can still take this medicine. my vacation are from 23 feb to 28 feb.
