Psoriasis of scalp is treated according to severity of the condition. One thing we have to consider in a scalp condition is that the medicine should penetrate the hair and touch the scalp for appropriate time. Ionax-t shampoo is good enough. These medicines will provide temporary relief.

Alongwith the shampoo, you can take some measures like oiling the scalp daily, applying thick creams, etc. If it is moderate to severe, a topical steroidal preparation may be needed. To start with (steroid) hydrocortisone 0.1 to 1 % cream can be used whenever the condition is flared up. Oral medicines are usually not needed unless the flare up is severe.

Mostly you will need to find a balance between the treatment and the side effects. Sometimes excessive treatment may make things worse.
