Brief Answer:
Pregabalin, gabapentin and duloxetine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms, they are suggestive of nerve pinching in the lower back due to slipped discs.

Medications that could help relieve these symptoms are pregabalin, gabapentin and duloxetine capsules.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

Answered by Dr. Sudhir Kumar (18 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Would be better to try pregabalin or duloxetine.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

If 1200 mg of gabapentin has not helped your numbness, it is unlikely that you would get better with higher doses.

On the other hand, i would recommend that you try either pregabalin or duloxetine capsules.

Best wishes,

Dose is given below.

Duloxetine can be started at a dose of 20-30mg once daily taken at night. The dose may be increaded slowly to 30-60 mg twice daily.
