Suggest Medication For White Patches On Back Area

Question: I got a sunburn and noticed there are white splotches on my back which are whitish and some how did not get burnt. I have attached a picture . What is this and what medicine cann I use to treat it?

I appreciate your concern

Its a typical sunburn. The involvement of areas of the skin can vary as the sunburn can be patchy or diffuse. Hydrocortisone and Mupirocin combination cream can be used on the affected areas twice a day. An anti histamine like levocetrizine or desloratidine can also be taken for 5 days. Try to use sunscreen SPF of at least 30 on exposed regions while going out in the sun.
