Brief Answer:
Calcium supplements will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Teething is a normal process and is not painful most of the times. The child feels irritated and sometimes lethargy and mild feverish but the gums do not pain all the time. Any anti septic gel is not needed. She can give the child carrot or radish to chew on so that the gums can get hardened enough and the teeth can erupt.
She can give the child calcium supplements after consulting the pediatrician.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
