Good Afternoon Dr. : I have a problem of constipation when I take pain medicine, what can i take to relieve this isssue or what can you prescribe to relieve this condition.

As per your query answers are-
Start taking lactulose (OTC)15 ml once daily before going to bed.Its a laxative and would help you get proper bowel moments very safe and can be used for months.
Drink warm beverages, more so in the morning.
Add vegetables and fruits in your diet.
Tae a probiotc like VSL#3 daily it would improve the overall dogestiln.
Psyllium husk is a bulk forming laxative and should be taken 2tsf twice daily.
