Suggest Medication For Panic Attacks

Posted on Mon, 3 Oct 2016
Question: Hi I'm a teacher and due to hold a meet the parents presentation on Thursday night. Several years ago I began to suffer panic attacks, at first they were frequent but now I seem to have got them under control and they don't affect me. Once a year on this meet the parent night, while I'm talking I struggle to breathe properly, my heart beats out of its chest and I feel light headed as if I'm going to faint. As soon as it is over I am fine once again. I've got an awful feeling about Thursday night and worried I will pass out through hyperventilating. Is there anything I can be prescribed to stop the physical effects I suffer?
