Question: I have hyponatremia and cannot drink water. I am also on fluid restriction. My kidney has been hurting. The pain comes and goes. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do for the pain?

You have dilutional hyponatremia which calls for fluid restriction. Taking Urispas (flavoxate) tablet twice daily or as required may help in resolving the pain. However you might need to get it prescribed by your doctor.
