Brief Answer:
It is necessary to find the cause first.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Enlargement of the breast gland in males is called gynecomastia.

This condition can be bilateral symmetric or unilateral and usually, it is associated with tenderness and sensitivity of the breast/s.

Gynecomastia is caused by a hormone imbalance with a relative excess of estrogens when compared with androgens.

At the same time, certain conditions (malnutrition, disorders of the male sex organs, liver cirrhosis, hyperthyroidism) and medications (spironolactone, some antibiotics and antihypertensive drugs) can be related to gynecomastia.

It is necessary to find the cause of your problem and only then you can have the right treatment.

There are no specific drugs or creams to treat gynecomastia.

Generally, the treatment of the condition or stopping the drug that causes gynecomastia is enough to treat this condition.

There is some medication like clomiphene or testosterone replacement therapy in men with low testosterone that may be helpful but these treatments are given only in certain patients.

I suggest finding the way to consult a local endocrinologist or at least your family physician because it is necessary to do some tests to check for the right cause of your problem and then you can have the right treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.

Dr. Elona Xhardo, Endocrinologist
