Brief Answer:
There are some treatments

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Sjogren's is not a fatal disease but it can be very annoying. It causes dryness on the mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, etc). Artificial tears for the eyes and drugs like pilocarpine may take care of dryness. Be warned though that sometimes Sjogren's may come along with other autoimmune disorders. If you don't have other symptoms then you shouldn't worry about that now. The rheumatologist should be able to tell you more after appropriate testing.

Regarding your allergies, the treatment depends on the type and severity of the allergy. For most types of allergies taking antihistamines suffices to relieve the symptoms. In other cases, corticosteroids may be necessary. If you'd like to share more information about your case, I'll be glad to comment more.

Hope I have answered your query.
