Suggest Information About Painless And Painful Vaccines

Question: my son is 2 months old and he is on the vaccination schedule.
He is supposed to get the following vaccines in the next 20 days:
1) Pnemococcal conjugate vaccine- 2nd dose.
2) Dtap-IPV/Hib- 2nd and 3rd dose.

I have come to know about the concept of painless and painful vaccines. Kindly guide me for the pros and cons of both type (cost would not be a big issue). Also the availability of painless type is scarce in my town. So can I purchase the vaccine dose from another town and get it done?

Regards.

Brief Answer:
less pain vs painful vaccine

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for writing to us.

Painless vaccine is actually less pain vaccine, its not completely painless.
The strength of the vaccine , i.e the potency is less hence less painful

Normal vaccine has full potent and hence more painful accompanied by fever.

If seen in the lines of protection and potency on a long run, normal vaccine is better .

But if you XXXXXXX t want your child having slightest of difficulties and pain and do not bother about the potency of the vaccine , you may choose less pain vaccine which on a long run will not give complete protection.

It is not advisable to purchase the vaccine elsewhere because the storage facilities will not be correct compared to the doctors clinic.,

Thank you, regards.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
I wanted to know that the potency of both the above painless vaccines is less in comparison to painful ones? Is it applicable to all types of vaccines in the schedule.
Also I read somewhere that DTap (painless) is better due to presence of some extra component. Is it true?

Brief Answer:
not applicable for all vaccines.

Detailed Answer:
Yes the potency of the less pain vaccine is lesser than the normal vaccine.
The less pain vaccine is also having lesser side effects of pain and fever, but less potent.

No it is not applicable to all the vaccines.

DTap is less pain vacccine , and what you have gone through about the extra component is wrong..

You can check in google for more information and then decide.

Type gentle vs normal DPT vaccine in google and get the information.

Kindly review your views, thank you.
