Question: Note: Please forward this question to Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX (Endocriniologist,Jaipur) Hello madam,i consulted u few months back for my thyroid case.i have Graves disease.You asked me last time, if my dates of visit to endo come then i can consult u.So have taken the reports of the TSH accordingly.The Result this time is TSH=9.47.I am on eltroxin 75 and methimez 10 dosage since 31-10-2013 when my TSH was 6.1.I hope u remember i had the drastic change of TSh level of 25.91 to 6.1 coz of my yoga excercize.I have stop doin the yoga since then,coz i didnt had the expert trainer along.Kindly suggest me the dosage for the next few months.i have uploaded the report along with these

Brief Answer: Increase eltroxin to 100 mcg then 125 mcg. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX Hi! yes I remember you and your query as well. now as the block and replacement regimen is working good, you may decrease the methimazole to 5 mg and continue same eltroxin or increase eltroxin to 100 mcg and then 125 mcg and continue same methimazole. but better would be the second option. make eltroxin 100 mcg from tomorrow and then make it 125 mcg after 15 days. then after 4 weeks of that repeat test and let me know. regards!
