Brief Answer:
2 gm single dose is needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Trichomoniasis should not make you so worried !
IT is a simple vaginal infection, and I wonder why you are having it since 2 years !!
Has your partner been tested for the same ?
Tinidazole is required as a single dose ( 2 gm ) for one day only.
And I hope you have had a vaginal swab and culture, that will determine whether it is actually Trichomoniasis or some other infection coexisting with it.
Please get back to me with these details.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Please answer the following questions..

Detailed Answer:
I understand your distress.
But would you please answer my questions, as it would provide me with greater insight into your problem.

Has your partner also been treated ?
Is the diagnosis confirmed with a vaginal swab ?
If you are actually suffering from a resistant infection since 2 years, yes, 5 day TINIDAZOLE maybe tried, as it is the only option for you.
Since you are having urinary issues, please get a Urine Routine Microscopy Examination and Urine Culture and Sensitivity test done too.
Please get them done.

I hope you would give me more details as requested.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Canesten cream is used for fungal infection, so it will not help for trichomonal infection.
And yes, you need to consult a Gynecologist first of all.
Please get swabbed and tested for trichomoniasis.
If it is worm infestation, you need treatment separately for that.
Also, you might be having a small fistula or fissure that is causing the severe infection.
Please get yourself examined.
