Brief Answer:
Frequent small amount of food, less sweetners

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

There is no fixed diet for all in diabetes. Diabetes is not a result of increased diet intake, but certain modifications are needed

1. Have frequent low calorie food

Instead of 3 major meals, try to have 3 major meals + 3-4 snacks a day.

2. Timing

Try to have food at correct timings. Both fasting and feasting are harmful in diabetes.

3. Type of food

Decrease refined sugar. More vegetables and low calorie fruits like apple, orange etc. High fibre diet like oats, whole wheat etc can be taken.

More important things are timing and frequency of food.

Sweeteners: these are not completely safe.
FDA approved sweeteners like saccharin, aspartame, sucralose etc can be taken in moderate quantities. Sugar free natura contains sucralose.

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you.
