Suggest Diet Plan To Lose Weight Around Stomach And Chin Area

Question: Hello Doc. I have a simple problem. I am 38 year old male, 70 kgs in weight. I do want to lose weight around my tummy and my chin, and that for I will exercise [Jog} regularly, everyday for 30 minutes. Within a day or two I want to start a very disciplined and a regular lifestyle. I have thought of two options. I want to know which option is better.

Option A : I eat 4 meals.
7 am : Wake up
8 am : Breakfast
1:15 pm : Lunch
5 pm : Evening Snacks
9 pm : Dinner

This diet plan will be the easiest for me to follow. But my only query is……….That IS A 5 HOUR GAP BETWEEN BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ACCEPTABLE????

Option B : I eat 5 meals.
7 am : Wake up
8 am : Breakfast
11 am : Mid morning snack
1:30 pm : Lunch
5 pm : Evening Snacks
9 pm : Dinner

This will be a little tougher to follow, as I am not used to carrying a mid morning snack. IS JUST A TWO AND A HALF HOUR GAP after mid morning gap acceptable. AND THE IMPORTANT QUESTION IS………..WHAT SHOULD I EAT IN A MID MORNING SNACK.

Please tell me what to doctor. So that I can start a great life very soon.

I had gone through your question very diligently and I really appreciate your concern for losses excess weight by adopting healthy life style.

In opinion potion B is better because 5 hours of gap between breakfast and lunch may increase your appetite and there is probability of overeating in lunch.

So you can take any seasonal fruit, fruit salad veg sandwiches or sprouts in mid morning snacks

Here i would like further information to tell you more precisely like
Your height and accordingly I will calculate BMI.
Have you ordered any investigation like lipid profile or blood sugar?
Do you smoke or consume liquor?

Apart from jogging you can do yoga, Kapalbhati and other exercises like swimming for early and effective weight loss.
