Question: Celiac disease, any progress on treatments aside from diet restrictions?

There are a lot of studies regarding the treatment of celiac disease. The new therapies like ALV003, BL-7010, Larazotide Acetate,Nexvax2 vaccine are still in study phases but with a high expectations effects on celiac disease treatment.

Till these drugs will be confirmed to treat celiac disease, the only treatment is gluten free diet.
