Brief Answer:
will explain the mode of treatment

Detailed Answer:

Thanks for your detailed reply.
As you got chronic history of spinal cord problem you need exclusive treatment protocol.
In ayurveda spinal cord problems were treated in high success rate.
Your problem seems to treatable with panchakarma, internal medication, exercise and certain yoga practise. As you are already practicing and it is appreciated.

You need a physical assessment by an ayurvedic physician to assess your current health status to suggest the recommended panchakarma therapy as well as internal medication.
Usual treatment protocol followed for spinal cord problem:
I.Internal medication:

1.Rasanaerandathi kashayam(Aarya vaidya pharmacy or kottakkal XXXXXXX vaidya sala); 20 ml with 60 ml of water. twice a day. Before food.
2.sahacharadhi kasayam- 20 ml with 60 ml of water. Twice a day. Before food.
You can mix both kashayam and take. no harm in it.

3.Lumbotone capsule (AVN ayurveda company): 2 capsule twice a day after food.
4. bontone granules-5g with milk twice day.

II.External therapy:Panchakarma –kati vasti for 14 days . may be extended depends on the response.kati vasti is for lumbar region. Whole spinal cord oil therapy should be followed.
III. Follow gentle stretching exercises as recommended.
IV. diet –avoid non veg, fatty foods. Prefer black gram, green gram, steamed food ,fruits and vegetables.
I suggest you to visit a panchakarma expert ayurvedic physician in your locality to take proper treatment.
Kindly get back to me if there any clarification.

thank you

Brief Answer:
let me explain myelomalacia

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir,
I explained the myelomalacia condition in first conversation.

In your case As myelomalacia occured may be due to your accident in past.this will weaken the spinal cord.
As myelomalacia will occur in old age due to degenerative cause also.
As my suggested treatmment protocol will take care about the myelomalacia.
So no need for any seperate treatment advise for myelomalacia.

our ultimate plan is to strength and stabilse the spinal cord wlth recommended line of treatment.

Thank you
Hope i answered your query.
Kindly rate the conversation.

Dear Dr.Santhilnathan,
Strictly following the line of treatment suggested by you--Kati-vasti,two kashyams, bonetone and some capsules. There is very good relief in the lower part of the body particularly the leg part, there is balance in walking ,strength recovered, burning sensation in the feet still continuing. though there is improvement in numbness in the right hand but not satisfactory, still little control over hand writing. Kati vasti is being followed for both lower back as well as spondylosis.Completing 14 days of kati-vasti treatment by 27 th of March, should it be continued for more time? How long the medicines to be taken? While out of home can I take tablets of the two kashyam you have suggested.Doctor, I am fitness freak,I wants to be fit as of a young boy of 25.
An early advice will be highly appreciated

Brief Answer:
continue kati vasti and medication

Detailed Answer:

Dear Sir,

I appreciate your concern ,thanks for following the advise properly.
As in old age degenerative disease cannot be cured 100%. As we can manage and control the condition by following medical advise and recommended treatment like internal medication, panchakarma, yoga, diet etc.however you can be still fit as young as your mind.

As coming to your concern you need to take kati vasti in a periodic time. One course of treatment (7 DAYS) for 4 to 5 months. Need to continue the same medication. unless you develop any new symptoms addition or change of medication is required.
As burning sensation may be due peripheral neuritis also. Can take vitamin B12 capsules as supplement.
You should continue the medication for 3 to 4 months. One or two days skipping the medicine will not affect you.
But don’t stop the medication unless you feel any discomfort because of medicine.

Hope I answered your query.kindly get back to me for any clarification.
Thank you
Regards
Dr.S.Senthilnathan
