Suggest Ayurvedic Treatment For Depression
Question: Dear sir,
I am suffering from depression since 2003 due to not competeting in Engg entrance examination & another family issue.
I am taking venlafaxine 300 mg in a day with fluctuations of doses.
Them
N I come to know about psychotherapy & with this I am able to manage the problem. Venix xr has strong withdrawal symptoms.
Please help me to get rid of medicine & live drug free & healthy strong mind life with help of ayurveda.
Basically I also not believe in ayurveda but heard that it has strong power.
TSH & Sugar is normal.

as per your problem of depression and you are taking medicines from allopath irregular basis.
Now you want to start ayurveda medicines, and this is right choice for long term side effect less treatment as well as effective treatment too.
Right now you do not have to stop current medicines and do not have to make any changes on dose yourself. Any of changes have to follow only by your current psychotherapist.
now start the following medicines with current medication and review after every two months. After starting medicines current may current dose needed to reduce.
please start
1. tab Siledin 2 Tabs twice a day (Alarsin pharmacy.
2. Syrup Cognium 10 ml twice a day (shatam helathcare)
3. Mansyadi kwath 10 ml twice a day.
4. tab Mentat 2 tabs twice a day (Himalya)
also panchkarma therapy as Shiridhara is advisable and you can take this nearby reputed Ayurveda Panchkarma center.
Avoid irregular daily schedule.
Morning walk,
pranaym, yoga advisable.
contact after 6 months of medicines for review.

I have great confusion at present. My Psychiatrist is not advising me to go for ayurveda .He does not believe in it ,he is saying it may worsen your situation.
