Question: Doesn't seem like I can reduce the dosage of 4mg on risperdone to get rid of tremors. Cogentin doesn't help much.

Is their another anti-psychotic you can substitute for Risperdal to get rid of this side -effect. I hear there's a new drug called Latuda which may help.

Brief Answer:
Shift to olanzapine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

Risperidone is causing you tremors and cogentin is not helping you.

I would suggest you to shift to olanzapine as this drug has very less chances of causing this side effects when compared to risperidone.

In my opinion, latuda is not as effective antipsychotic as risperidone or olanzapine.

kindly discuss this with your doctor.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
