Question: Yes, I have chronic long term pain from multiple back surgeries, a left knee that needs to be replaced, and leg pain from multiple fractures, the pain meds I am on are ok, but very expensive,
I take oxycodone 60 mg 3 times a day, and 1-2 10/325 Percocet every 6 hrs, the oxy is 200.00 with my insurance every month. Can you tell me a cheaper drug to use?

Brief Answer:
these are good

Detailed Answer:
As per my knowledge oxycodone is the cheapest among other brands of oxycodone. Percocet is also available as endocet which may be slightly cheaper. You should ask your pharmacist about it.

As far as this combination is concerned, it is a winning combination. I wouldn't allow my patients to change them in view of costs. You can ask your doctor if he/she can help you purchase the medicine directly from the pharmaceutical company where the cost may be cheaper than the store price. This is possible in some locations. Alternatively you nay ask your doctor to prescribe morphine tabs for equal potency.

I understand the cost of pills are high. But this is the best possible alternatives that I have.
